Outreach Programme
What is it?
The ACF Outreach team are a diverse group of members from the local community who patrol the streets with the objective of engaging at-risk and vulnerable individuals, raising awareness of relevant issues and acting as an initial point of support.
Who is it for?
ACF Outreach aims to reach those who we have fallen through the cracks and not had the opportunity to be a part of other community initiatives. The most vulnerable individuals at risk of being targeted by gang members, extremists and other predatory groups, are prioritised.
Why?
Done mostly on foot or bicycle, ACF Outreach is an environmentally friendly way of connecting with vulnerable people and issues in the community. We are also able to get into more areas this way, and engage with otherwise hard to reach groups.
