Youth Centre
What is it?
The ACF Youth Centre, located in the Borough of Waltham Forest, is an indoor space for young people to spend both structured and unstructured time interacting with ACF volunteers and others their own age. Guest speakers are regularly hosted, and video game and sports facilities are also available for members.
Who is it for?
Membership to the Centre is mandatory to make use of the facilities and is open to young people resident in the Borough. As an initiative it is particularly aimed at those from disadvantaged communities.
Why?
Membership to the Centre creates a sense of belonging for at-risk youth and also reduces anti-social behaviour. Among other things, our members have gone on to become police officers and solicitors serving their communities.
