Volunteering for ACF
Volunteers help ACF in a number of ways. They volunteer directly to work with young people in our youth centre, engage with those participating in our projects, do outreach on the streets of our community and assisting with fundraising endeavours.
Why do people volunteer?
People volunteer for a number of reasons:
- · To be part of a charitable cause
- · To be more involved with their community
- · To make a change in the life of those in need
- · To develop their skills and improve their CVs
- · To support a cause they believe in
Get Involved:
Fundraising: Would you like to sharpen your skills in fundraising? Why not volunteer some of your free time and we’ll provide you with a cause? If so, simply send us an email to enquiries@activechangefoundation.org or call 0208 27901258 and a member of our team will be happy to help.
Mentors in the Community: Do you work for a professional organisation or within a professional environment? Are you a business person that is able to support our work by offering a young person a mentorship opportunity in your business?
Events: Can you give us a hand at our events held throughout the year? Whether you can give us a day or a year we value our volunteers’ time. Please contact our office to find out what upcoming events.
