Become a volunteer with Active Change Foundation

Volunteering for ACF can be an enriching and empowering experience. Not only does it provide individuals with an opportunity to help others, it also offers participants a sense of self worth and personal fulfillment.

Very importantly, volunteers offer up their free time without compulsion and it is that which allows ACF to get all willing members of the community involved and thereby provide a more effective and efficient service to the community, without the financial burden.

At ACF, we are committed to the inclusion of volunteers in our work and provide appropriate training, supervision and support. Volunteers will come away with a sense of belonging, increased levels of confidence and the chance to develop new skills.

Volunteer Role

Active Change Foundation engages volunteers in a wide variety of roles, some of which are in direct contact with the community, while others are more behind the scenes, but just as important.

Recruitment

Due to the nature of the environment, volunteers will be screened accordingly. An application form and interview will have to be completed and where appropriate the relevant level of disclosure with the Criminal Records Bureau.
