The ACF Outreach Team is responsible for patrolling the streets and engaging with local members of the community. Outreach is done by the team cycling around the borough in an environmentally friendly manner. This method has proven successful in frequenting those hard to reach areas and thereby allowing ACF to stay connected to prominent issues and ideas within the community.

The success of ACF is largely due to the community having easier and regular access to the organisation through the outreach team. The ACF outreach team consists of individuals that possess the unique skills required to engage with individuals from different races, religious and cultural backgrounds and from all age groups. They are able to operate within the community without drawing attention to themselves thereby enabling ACF to assist individuals that would otherwise go without any much needed assistance.

Through the daily patrolling of the streets many referrals have been identified by the ACF outreach team thus allowing ACF to put in place a multi-agency layer of support which has been undoubtedly a key success in ACF’s history.
